Alan Savin has been a genealogist since 1986. He is a member of the Guild of One Name Studies, the Institute of Heraldic and Genealogical Studies and several family history societies. From 1997 to 1999 he pioneered with Dr. Mark Thomas of University College, London the use of Y-chromosome DNA in the world's first DNA surname study |
